Dwayne Simpson

The Vision of Dwaynamics was founded by the Late Dwayne Simpson who took up the challenge to address the lack of facilities for young people in Angell Town Estate.

An estate ridden of poverty and no facilities for the talented young people that lived there. Dwayne launched this boxing and fitness Project in 2013 which brought a great positive impact into the community and created a positive stream of turning pain in to power to all that participated in his classes.

Dwaynamics is a heartbeat in Lambeth of networking with other great Community Organisations and Professionals in London to enhance its businesss to all its customers in the UK.

Richard Davis – Head Boxing Coach

Introduced to boxing at the age of 3, by his father, retired professional boxer Don Davis.  Don fought more than 40 fights in his professional career.  After retirement he became a trainer at Miguel’s Gym, in Brixton, training professional boxers like Richard Williams, Errol Christie, Frank Bruno and Dennis Andries.

Richard took the sport seriously in his teens and trained at Miguel’s Gym, however he had a short  amateur career because he decided he wanted to coach and as a result went on to Coach at Miguel’s Gym.

As Head Coach for Dwaynamics, he leads on the GB Awards non-contact boxing programme, for children aged 7 to 21 and also coaches women’s only and father and son sessions.

 Richard also leads a Corporate boxing events programme.

Errol Christie – Boxing Coach

Boxing since the age of 8, Christie went on to become a school boy champion in 1977.  Following that he also became NABC champion in 1979 and ABA champion in 1981 and in an 80 fight amateur career, he suffered only two losses.

Having sparred in the world famous Kronk Gym in Detroit, he was believed to be worthy enough to wear the coveted Kronk Gym golden shorts.  Being the only British boxer to win all 10 amateur titles has earned him a place in The Guinness Book of Records.

Christie was the England boxing captain from 1980 to 1983.
